High Efficiency Particulate Air Filters (HEPA) Filters

Carolina Filters offers a complete line of HEPA Filters in two efficiencies to meet the needs of critical applications where HEPA filtration is required.

Individual testing, rigid quality control and modern assembly methods are used to ensure conformance to specifications. Our HEPA filters are either UL 900 Class 1 or Class 2 listed.

Extended Surface Minipleat Air Filters

Medium-High efficiency extended surface filters are designed for use in most commercial or industrial HVAC systems where medium to high efficiency filtration is required.

These filters are available in average efficiency ranges of MERV 11 to MERV 14 per ASHRAE Standard 52.2 test methods. These are available in standard and high capacity versions.

• 12x24x4 must be ordered in case quantities of 6; all other sizes must be ordered in case quantities of 3
• MERV 11, MERV 13 & MERV 14

Filter Media

Polyester Synthetic Fiber (psf) media is extremely resilient and will withstand direct moisture. In many cases a psf media is the ideal alternative to spun glass.

It makes an excellent pre-filter for high efficiency filters and offers high arrestance and dust holding capacity. Bulk media rolls are offered in selected slit widths with roll lengths determined by manufacturing processes. Pre-cut pads, as the name implies, are pads of filtration media cut to standard filter face sizes or to your desired custom sizes.

Box Style Air Filters

Rigid-Air extended media surface rigid filters are designed for use in most commercial or industrial HVAC systems where medium to high efficiency filtration is required.

Rigid-Air is available in two media types: lofted fiberglass and micro- fine synthetic with average efficiencies of 50-55%, 60-65%, 80-85% and 90-95% per ASHRAE Standard 52.1 test methods.

Cube Extended Surface Synthetic Media Air Filters

Ring Panels and Cube filters are made by heat-sealing layers of synthetic filtering media together over an interior, corrosion- resistant steel support frame.

An over cut of media outside the seal-forms a built-in gasket (selvage) between the wire support frame and holding frame, which secures the filter and prevents air bypass. This special feature allows these filters to be installed without the use of retainer fasteners.

• Four polyester media types available: 1 Ply, 2 Ply, 3 Ply & 4 Ply
• MERV 6-8
• Frame style options

Bag Filters

Extended surface bag filters are designed for use in most commercial or industrial HVAC systems where medium to high efficiency filtration is required.

These filters are available in two media types: lofted fiberglass and micro-fine synthetic media with MERV ratings ranging from MERV 8 to MERV 14 per ASHRAE Standard 52.2 test methods. Operating face velocities up to 625 fpm are available for all models. Extended surface bag filters are UL 900 Class 2 listed as a standard and are also available in UL Class 1.

V-Cell Style Air Filters

V-configuration extended surface filters are low pressure drop mini-pleat filters designed for use in most commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

These filters are used where medium to high efficiency filtration is required. V mini-pleat filters have an exceptionally low clean pressure drop. This affords low fan energy costs during much of the life of the filter system.

• 12x24x12 must be ordered in case quantities of 2; all other sizes must be ordered in case quantities of 1
• MERV 11-16
• Available in 2V-Cell & 4V-Cell configurations
• Anti-microbial treated pleated filters available upon request
