Andrew began his career in industry as an intern in the PEC Division in 2006 before moving on to various positions within the chemical and manufacturing industries. He returned to Carolina Filters in 2018 as the PEC Division Manager and became the company’s Vice President & General Manager in 2019. In 2020, Andrew was named the Chief Operating Officer of the company. He has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University. Andrew served in progressive roles in technical and management positions in the specialty chemical, oil and gas, and forest products industries, most recently as the Plant Manager of a large wood products facility in Georgia prior to his return to Carolina Filters.
Andrew serves as a deacon at his church and is the chairman of the church's personnel committee. He is a graduate of the 20th class of Tuomey Fellows, a leadership program sponsored by Prisma Health and The Tuomey Foundation. In the fall of 2020, he was named to the Top 20 Under 40 list of professionals in Sumter, Lee and Clarendon Counties.
A native of the Sumter area, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and young children, playing golf, and attending Clemson football games.
